Sound familiar?

Organizing carpool shouldn't take more energy than driving.

The group text

47 unread messages, and you still don't know who has the kids.

Carpool plans live in a thread that scrolls faster than anyone can read. The answer to “am I driving Thursday?” is buried under thumbs-up reactions.

The dead spreadsheet

Someone made a schedule in September. Nobody's touched it since.

The shared sheet was a great idea for one week. Then practice times changed, a family moved, and now it's a museum of who used to drive.

The 7:50am scramble

A kid wakes up sick and the whole morning falls apart.

One change means a flurry of “can anyone grab Sam?” texts while you're packing lunches. Nobody knows the new plan until it's almost too late.

From group-text chaos to a schedule that runs itself

Three steps, about five minutes, then it mostly takes care of itself.

1

Create a pool

Set up a carpool for one event series - morning drop-off, Tuesday soccer, dance on the weekends. Add the stops, days, and times once.

2

Invite your families

Send a link to the parents and guardians you share rides with. They join, add their kids as riders, and mark the days they can drive.

3

We run the schedule

RideVillage builds a fair rotation and shows everyone the daily plan - who's driving, who's riding, and the pickup order, right from their phone.

What you actually get

Built for the real Tuesday morning, not a demo

A fair rotation, built for you

Tell RideVillage which days each family can drive and it balances the turns - so the same parent isn't stuck with every Monday and the soccer-mom-three-doors-down isn't doing it all.

One glance answers “am I driving today?”

The daily view shows the driver, the riders, the pickup order, times, and addresses on one screen. No scrolling a thread to find out you're on.

  • Ridingyour kid has a seat

One-tap swaps

Sick kid at 7:50? Request a swap. A pool parent covers it and everyone gets the new plan.

Reminders that beat the scramble

A nudge the night before and the morning of, so your turn never sneaks up on you mid-lunch-packing.

Works for every event your kids show up to

School drop-off and pickup, practices, games, lessons, weekend tournaments. Spin up a pool for each one - the same fair rotation and daily view runs them all.

Trust & safety

You're handing us your kids' schedule. We treat it that way.

RideVillage is built to be the calm, trustworthy co-parent - not another place your family's details leak out of.

Invite-only pools

No one joins your carpool without a link from someone already in it. Strangers can't find their way in.

Your data stays in your group

Riders, schedules, and contact details are visible only to the families in that pool - nowhere else.

Addresses shared on your terms

A pickup address is only visible once you choose to add it as a pool location. Until then, it's yours.

Made for every kind of carpool family

Questions parents actually ask

Is RideVillage only for school carpools?

No. A pool is just a carpool for one event series, so it works for school drop-off and pickup, soccer practice, dance, scouts, tournaments three towns over - any recurring or one-off ride your kids need.

Do all the parents need the app?

Yes. Every family in a pool joins so they can see their own schedule, get reminders, and cover swaps. That's the whole point - one shared, always-current plan instead of a group text only some people read.

How does the driving rotation stay fair?

RideVillage balances driving turns across the families in a pool based on who's available, so no single parent carries every Monday. When someone covers an extra ride, the rotation accounts for it.

What happens when someone can't make their turn?

They request a swap in a tap. The pool sees the open ride, someone covers it, and everyone gets the updated plan automatically. Need a swap? It happens - that's normal.

Is my home address private?

Your address is only shared when you add it as a pickup or drop-off location in a pool, and only with the families in that pool. Pools are invite-only and your data stays inside your group.

Will I get reminded before my turn?

Yes. RideVillage sends a reminder the night before and the morning of, so the question “am I driving today?” is answered before you've had your coffee.

How much does it cost?

Your first pool is free, for as long as you use it. Families juggling several pools at once can upgrade to premium - more on that closer to launch.

Trade the group text for a schedule that runs itself.

Set up your pool, invite your families, and let RideVillage handle who's driving. Your first one's free.
